Deadline for Young Arts Open exhibition nearly here!

The Young Arts Open invites entries of original artwork by young people aged 24 and under living, working, or studying in the administrative districts of Fenland, South Holland, and Kings Lynn and West Norfolk.
Entries by young artists from across the Fens must be submitted to Wisbech and Fenland Museum by Saturday March 16 for inclusion in the exhibition and for a chance to win a cash prize.
Young artists can access support to enter the competition at weekly drop-in art sessions at the Museum, with free access to high-quality art materials and professional support to get their work ready for submission. These sessions run from 1pm to 3.30pm on Saturdays – March 2, 9, and 16.
Exhibition organiser Louise Haselgrove said: “We are excited be expanding the Young Arts Open this year, and to be able to offer practical support to young artists through the drop-in sessions.”
“The sessions have been made possible thanks to funding support from The Rotary Club of Wisbech.”
The Young Arts Open exhibition itself, supported by 20Twenty Productions CIC, with cash prizes for the best work in five age categories sponsored by JTC Tuition, Wisbech Rotary, Etec Group, Octavia Hill Society, Wisbech Projects CIC and Wisbech Community Hub CIC will go on show at Wisbech and Fenland Museum from Saturday March 30 until April 13, 2024.
