Embroider the Bayeux Tapestry: Author Event with Mia Hansson

Join Wisbech-based Tapestry enthusiast and embroidery expert Mia Hansson as she celebrates the launch of her newest publication Embroider the Bayeux Tapestry with a private talk followed by a book-signing at Wisbech and Fenland Museum.
Mia’s latest publication gives creative insights into the craftsmanship and skill used to create one of the most significant cultural artefacts in the world and guides you through the process of recreating key parts of it for yourself using simple stitches and full-size iron-on transfers.
Admission to the talk is strictly limited, with just 25 tickets available. The talk will commence promptly at 2pm, with doors open from 1.40pm. Book-signing ticket holders will be admitted from 3pm-4pm only.
Following the talk, at 3pm, there will be the opportunity to have books signed by the author, bring your own copies or reserve titles for collection here. The book-signing is open to those who were unable to obtain tckets to attend the talk.
