Inspired by 7-year-old Henry’s entry in this year’s Young Arts Open, create your own clay dog portrait using the slab technique. Take inspiration from the many dogs represented in models and sculptures across the Museum collection or bring a photograph of your own dog to work from.

No need to book; just drop-in during advertised times.

Suitable for ages 5+

This activity can get messy; please bring an apron or wear clothes suitable for messy activities.

Normal museum admission charges apply; no additional charge for the activity.

Remember, if you have an artwork on display in this year’s Young Arts Open you and your guests all visit completely free of charge.
