A Crafty Little Christmas

Date: 6th Dec 2025 - 20th Dec 2025
Location: Wisbech & Fenland Museum

Are you an amateur or professional crafter? Do you love Wisbech & Fenland Museum? Then you could help secure its future with a creative donation this Christmas!

As part of an ongoing campaign to help secure the future of Wisbech & Fenland Museum, we are launching our first ever ‘Crafty Little Christmas’ fundraiser.

‘A Crafty Little Christmas’ will take place from 6 December to 20 December 2025 and follows the fantastic response to our Secret Little Art Show in 2023 which raised over £2,000 thanks to the generosity of amateur and professional artists with a love for Wisbech & Fenland Museum.

How it works

The Museum invites all who wish to contribute, to make and donate a small Christmas tree decoration. Decorations will be displayed in our Crafty Little Christmas exhibition and sold for a fixed price of £7, with all proceeds going toward supporting the Museum to remain open.

How to take part

Send or deliver your decoration to:

Louise Haselgrove

Wisbech & Fenland Museum

Museum Square

Important Information
  • Decorations should be able to be hung on a Christmas tree;
  • Decorations should be handmade;
  • If you wish, you are welcome to attach a label with your name, or the name of your business if applicable to your decoration;
  • Decorations can be presented individually, or as a set, but the price will remain the same at £7;
  • Decorations can be submitted from now until Saturday 29 November 2025.
Further information

Donated decorations will be photographed and shared in printed and digital media for publicity purposes only.

Unsold decorations cannot be returned and will remain the property of the Museum; we will continue to sell donations throughout the year and will care for them appropriately.
