After Dark at the Museum

Join us for our popular annual after dark event for families this October half-term. Drop-in at any point throughout the evening to explore the Museum by torchlight and take part in crafts and activities.
Meet a Wise Woman, make your own boggart slime, and discover the history of witch bottles and keepsafes. With darkened galleries for torch-lit exploration and other hands-on activities throughout the evening, there will be lots of things for families to enjoy.
Entry: £2.50 per child (pay on entry); accompanying adults and under fives go free (please note, under fives are not able to take part in our slime-making activity)
A limited number of torches will be available to borrow on the night, or feel free to bring your own.
Fancy dress encouraged!
This event is aimed at families with children aged 7-11 years.
