The Young Arts Open is a free, open submission exhibition for young people aged 24 and under living, working, or attending school or college in the districts of Fenland, West Norfolk and South Holland. It’s a chance for young people in our community to showcase their work and share their talents with others.
How to enter
Entering an artwork for the exhibition is completely free.
You can submit one artwork and there is no prescribed theme. NB: schools may submit 20 x artworks maximum.
You will need to complete an entry form when you deliver your artwork to us. If you are under 16, a parent or guardian will need to complete the entry form on your behalf.
Your artwork must be delivered with your completed entry form to Wisbech & Fenland Museum, Museum Square, Wisbech PE13 1ES by Saturday 16 March 2024. We cannot accept entries after this date. The earliest date you can submit work is Wednesday 21 February 2024.
We will do our best to display all entries in the exhibition, but if we do have too many, we will make a final selection. Our decision regarding acceptance and hanging is final. We will send a notification email by Friday 22 March 2024 to all those whose work has been selected for display. Selected artwork will be displayed at Wisbech & Fenland Museum from Saturday 30 March 2024 to Saturday 13 April 2024 during normal opening hours.
