New Conversations Digital Collections Project Public Consultation Sessions - following on from our community conversations and our recent digital survey we will be holding public consultation group events…..

Tell us what you think
We’re inviting local people to join a conversation about how we share collections digitally.
Do you like exploring and visiting art, history and cultural collections online? We are interested to hear what you would like to see from W&FM for example, regular online exhibitions, talks events and webinars, or digital images of artefacts, paintings and archives to explore at your leisure. We would love to hear about what you enjoy and new ways to develop our online experiences.
We want our digital content to be engaging, impactful and used and to achieve this we need to listen to our audiences and find out what you would like to see, how you want to view the museum collection online and how you want to be able to engage with the collection.
These free sessions will take place online using Zoom and be hosted by an independent consultant. This will be an interactive session and you can really help the Museum to develop its online collections content.
Participants will only need to attend one session and the session will last between 40 and 60 minutes.
You will see a selection of ideas for the digital display of collections and examples of digital collections engagement and participation to help get the conversation started.
As part of this interactive session, you’ll have the chance to ask questions, find out about different options and share your ideas and thoughts.
These sessions are an important part of planning for the museum’s digital collections strategy and future development and as a thank you for taking part, participants will be entered into a prize draw to win £50.00 of Morrisons vouchers.
