Object Identification:

If you would like to have an object identified, please contact the Museum to find a convenient time to bring it in. In some cases we may not always be able to identify your object on the spot, so it may be necessary for you to leave it with us for a short period.

A photographic reproduction service is available at the Museum. Please contact the Museum for details of charges (01945 583817 or email us info@wisbechmuseum.org.uk)

Local History Research:

The Research Room is available during Museum opening hours. If you wish to do research at the Museum, it is essential that you book in advance as space is limited. To make an appiontment please telephone 01945 583817 or email archives@wisbechmuseum.org.uk.

Independent Research:

Visitors are welcome to undertake independent research at the Museum. Please ring 01945 583817, or email archives@wisbechmuseum.org.uk.

We charge £5.00 per hour for research using the Parish Registers.

Remote Research:

The Museum provides a limited postal research service into the parish registers at a charge of £20.00 per hour, this money is used exclusively for the conservation of the parish registers and other archives. Contact the Museum to arrange this.

The Museum offers a service for postal enquiries into the archives (including photographs and maps) - a simple enquiry, taking no longer than 10 minutes is free, but after that any time spent is charged at £20.00 per hour.

Copies may be made of parish register entries. Charges are £1.00 per entry. Minimum charge is £2.50 including postage & packing.

Shop:

Where to Eat:

The Museum does not have a cafe, but there are several close by in the town centre.

Toilets:

There is a toilet on on the lower ground floor in the Hudson Wing.

Parenting Room:

There are parenting facilities in the Accessible Toilet on the lower ground floor of the Hudson Wing.
