When the Museum first opened, collections were made up of natural history and local flora and fauna. Later bequests diversified the collections to include cultural ojbects from around the world.

How To Donate An Object
If you have an object(s) that you would like to give to the Museum's Main Collection, please read our Collecting Policy first to check if we are able to accept it. If there is no strong local connection, you might consider donating your object(s) to the Education Handling Collection
